Pillars of Character

Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship

The six “pillars of character” are integrated throughout school activities that present opportunities for students to:

  • Foster and strengthen relationships
  • Create safe and positive learning environments
  • Become more aware of their strengths and weaknesses
  • Self-regulate
  • Develop a healthy sense of self

Teachers have an active role in assuring that the students’ new skills are incorporated into their daily routines both at school and home.
