Our Staff

The Providence Center School is comprised of diverse community of educators, clinicians and support staff who work with students to achieve their individual goals. 

Faculty and Staff Orientation and Training

 
All staff are certified and licensed in their areas of expertise. In adherence to state requirements, all staff are trained in de-escalation and safe restraint techniques through “Handle with Care,” a nationally certified program. The behavior specialist and a certified classroom teacher conduct annual staff trainings in therapeutic prevention, de-escalation and holding techniques.

Staff participate in professional development activities and have the opportunity to attend specialized conferences or workshops throughout the year.
