MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASSROOM PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy is to challenge students to attain the academic goals and objectives stated in their individual education plans. The curriculum is high-interest and hands-on to motivate students and provide opportunities for success. Our classroom provides a safe, nurturing, and comfortable academic environment within a highly structured day program. This program helps students understand their strengths and develop strategies to meet their needs. We believe students have different learning styles and these styles should be fostered to enhance their learning experiences. As a class, we work on the concept of community and how to tolerate, celebrate and respect differences within ourselves and others.
